John Floyd Sr. and John Floyd Jr. recently obtained summary judgment on behalf of a podiatrist in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee. The patient alleged that the podiatrist failed to remove numerous calcifications in his Achilles tendon during a surgery and the patient required an additional surgery to remove the leftover calcifications. Floyd Law Group defended the podiatrist by utilizing an intraoperative x-ray that showed all calcifications had been removed during surgery. After turning the patient’s expert witness against the patient with the intraoperative x-ray, Floyd Law Group moved for summary judgment and the Court granted the motion. The patient was represented by experienced health care attorneys in Nashville.
